Australia Gold Coast Day 3

As usual we packed our egg sandwiches before departing to Dreamworld, we arrived at the opening time,10am and found out that there was no crowds . We headed straight for koala photo and had a nice chat with Beca. She explained how clingy Bambi is and he is only 3years old now. It was adorable to see that when you hug him tight, we will release the claw and let you squeeze him tighter. We fed the kangaroo and listen to talk about tree kangaroo( only found here and papua new guinean. We then went for the claw ride, wipe out and etc after the madagascar show and sheep shearing show.

After lunch we played the swing and dragon ride. I almost vomited my gut out. We took plenty photo with the shrek, alex, gingy, banana and kungfu panda and decided that it is time to go home.

We stopped by the skydeck observation centre and enjoyed the sunset. Finally we had our spagetti meal in surf club and the portion was so big!

The day was great!

Australia Gold coast day 2

Pretty anxious for the drive today. I woke up at 430, hopefully to catch the sunrise but it turned out to be on the wrong side. So we went back to sleep and I did tabata exercise as usual.  Then read the book I am Malala and get lunch sandwich ready for picnic. Cindy woke up 730 and we had breakfast and departed at 830. After an hour drive we arrived in Tamboline park and aimed fr curtis fall. It wasnt as breathtaking and it was man-made. But still we enjoyed our walk. Soon after we went for gallery walk and tasted some cider and chose the blueberry cider that cost 10dollars. We then headed to  charis seafood for pelican watch! It reminded me of 2years ago when I visited Sydney.

Then we headed to the Harbour town outlet. OMG! the heaven for shopping. I bought myself plenty of notebooks from typo and skecher (Gowalk ) for my working shoes. It worried me a bit that I might not able to carry those back in luggage.

Lastly we went for Mexico food in Montezuma! Again we got the buy one free one meal! Thanks to our host!

After that we went for a walk in surfer beach and apparently schoolies event is going on and the street was full of people. I got grumpy as i was pretty tired and hardly focus on driving. By the time we reached home, I am relieved.

What a long day.

Australia Gold Coast Day 1

I picked up Cindy from the airport and went to Burleigh Head straight. We stopped by the Woolworth for lunch, strawberry and set lunch that cost us 7.50each for a cup of coffee with avocado.

We then headed to Burleigh National Park and tumgun lookout. It was just like any other and we straight to the Burleigh beach but it was too cold for a swim.

We then visited the surf club for buy one free one offer and get ourselves the seafood busker and chicken snitzel with only 13dollar per pax, quite a good bargain. We had great chat on our view in different perspectives and come to conclusion of the importance of balance of life and perspective.

Our last stop is the woolworth again and we got ourselves some pairs.

Australia Melbourne Day 5

I woke up early this morning and helped to prepare breakfast and pack sandwich for lunch later. Our breakfast is so much better with scrambled eggs and frankfurt. Today is forest day.
Then we headed to Otway National Park for a walk. It took us about an hour return journey with price of 25AUS per pax. pretty cool with 25stories height of tower.
We then headed to triple falls, doesnt look as good as expected but still we had fun picnic at the site.
The next stop is the best, the california redwoods, it looks so much more stunning and we took lot of panorama photos.
Lastly we went to Maits Rest, known for its ferns, lots of tree with deepened roots.
After checking in our hotel and rested for 2 hour.
We headed out for Marrinar outlook for apollo bay. Plenty of people paragliding there and is kind of windy but best view i would say.
Lastly we had our dinner in a chopstix chinese restaurant and ordered big bowl size of rice and noodles.Couldnt feel any better with hot food in windy night.

Australia Melbourne Day 4

Day 4
The Great Ocean is definitely the highlight of the trip. After 2hours drive from Geelong we finally arrived. Our first stop was the Gibson steps. It is by the ocean and there is a big rock that we able to climb up for photo. There are plenty of rock formation and one of the must not miss is the 12 apostles that we decided to save it for dawn and it is known as best place to  see sunset. The other points were Tom and Eva outlook, Lord Ard Gorge, the Arch, London Arch and 12 apostles.
We had fish and chips mix pack for dinner and stayed in summer rest unit. Their boss is malaysian and the bed are heated up with heater, pretty cool.
