#Day 13 #Los Angeles

14~5~30 #Day 13 # Los Angeles
We reached Los Angeles early in the morning at 7.30a.m. The very first thing we were finding is not food....but wifi! Well, You had no idea how " drastic changes" to our plan.....hehe

We planned to go Malibu( if you watch Iron man 3, you will realise the address is exactly where iron man stayed although this is not exactly the place) first and the Hungtington beach( if you watch City Hunter whereby this is where Lee Min Ho was born in the show)

we stored our luggage in the train station and we to Malibu first as the hostel was much more further from the Malibu than train station.  on the bus, we were asked by driver which beaches to go to.....who knows there are so many beaches here! haha! there was korean uncle who introduced Zuma beach to us and said it is one of the best! Since we have no other name of the beach in mind, we just followed him! Haha....then we split to different direction when we were there.

After we strolled around the beach and  decided to have our lunch somewhere around( The food was so expensive) On the way, we met that uncle again and he asked us to follow him and said it would be better to have lunch in McD near Santa Monica.

He was so friendly that he insisted to pay for our lunch. Perhaps this is Korean culture, the old always take care of the young one. The uncle was so kind that he insisted to bring us around. He was so joyful when we agreed to follow him to Venice beach!

Though we planned to walk around third street promenade first.Hehe, we decided to come back after that instead as it was really hard to " shop" together.

On the way, he kept explain to us about this and that in Korean but obviously we had no idea what he was trying to say. The funny thing was none of us told him that we couldn't understand his language. I guess we simply enjoyed seeing his smile.

When we reached Venice beach, we decided to buy him a cap. However, after we bought, he rejected and said he would never accept that. We were in difficult situation as we already bought it and there was no way to return it back. Instead, we had to change it for something, so we ended up buying 3 magnet( Maybe that is Korean culture as the old always take good care and the young and ask nothing for return.

We had good time together.Along the way, we did take some photos.
He told us a out his story as well, he is a divorced man, and he had a daughter who go with her mum. I guess he missed his daughter a lot as we can see what he felt deep inside through his o
Then, after about an hour, he decided to go back and we decided to walk back to the promenade to start " shopping"!

This place is definitely mean for rich people. We went to a few shop selling NBA T shirt, then we had our dinner here!A plate of Teriyaki Chicken Rice!
We took bus back to hostel right after that.....
