#Day 22

This morning I  woke up with grumbling stomach, grabbing for Maggi Mee at 7sth.
After the hearty breakfast, I continued to sleep until 10sth and only then we started our journey!
Not to say I am lazy, it was raining and well, u know how comfortable to sleep when it was rainig and today is my birthday! So, I have the best reason in the world to laze around.
We were supposed to visit the Empire building and enjoy the bird eye view from the top! However, it was so foggy after raining so we decided not to go for it as we had to pay 22USD and it was definitely not well worth if we cannot see anything.
So, we went to Camera store to repair Cindy's camera and by the time it was 2pm so we went for luner!

Australia Gold Coast solo trip

Today is my solo trip to Gold Coast, pretty thrill as it has been long since my Germany Solo trip. I sent my family off before headed to domestic flight. I waited for almost 3hours before my flight and ZX warned me that not to be late as the flight always overloaded. I hesitated with choice of lunch, to go for original nacho or raw sashimi. Then I regretted my choice. After an hour flight, I touched down in Gold Coast airport and managed to find my way to the Coolangate beach and checked in to Kommune Resort right after. After settled down, I walked myself to the Snapper Rocks and Point Danger. I met an Aussie from Sydney who initiated talk with me and he was really friendly and even recommended a visit to Norfork island. I learnt the art of watching moonrise as well.

Australia melbourne Day 6

We went to carisbrook creek after we checked out from the hotel and realised the stacked stone as mentioned doesn't exist anymore as the authority had knocked it down for safety purpose. We set up few stacked stone for "photo booth"purpose.

We we went to Lorne Pier for teddy lookout, it wasn't as astonished compared to marriner lookout so we didn't stay long. We had one family size pizza for lunch and went straight to melbourne city.

We then visited the state library victoria and the Yarra river.

Australia sunshine coast day 1

We had plenty of photo session at the airbnb house as the christmas decoration is up. I always like how ZX's effort of making conversation with everyone even they are total strangers.

So at 10am, we reluctantly went out and got our rented car near the airport. It is a Hyundai.

we rented it for about RM100 per day. So after splitted from ZX, we went on to our adventure. The places to cover for the day is the greenhouse mountain lookout, one tree hill, Mary Clairness , Maleny town and montville. Cindy is driving so I can totally enjoy the singK session in the car.

Australia brisbane day 3

We departed so late today. It is almost 9am I guess and we havent decided whre to go about. In the end we decided to go for walk in white stone. There are plenty of lookout here such as the small white stone but in the end we choose the 3hours return walk for the best view. I ran as fast as I can and ended up losing Cindy and ZX that they have to call me to find where am I.

But it was definitely worth the walk.

Then we went to church and walked around UQ-university of queensland.

It brought back lot of memories back in Dublin.

We had dinner with his group of church friend in Si Chuan restaurant.I had migraine for the night and knew exactly menses is around the corner.

Australia brisbane day 2

The original plan of the day was to get a bike around in the city but it was cancelled last minutes due to the bad weather.

So zx sent us to the corner cafe and we took transport to the Jan powers farmers market. There was lot of fresh food on sale and we got smoothies and blueberry for 6dollars each and have our own small picnic session. Then we ended up sleeping for an hour in the park before heading to ETSY market. they encouraged gold coin donation here. I love art but always find it too pricey. We got cold sandwich and fish and chips for lunch. Then Zx came fetch us and we headed to the south bank and went on to the cityhopping tour by ferry. It was such a nice view of the bridge. We then visited the city hall and walked along the street. It was good session to know more of history of brisbane. Lastly, we went to the toolong village for sushi. It was cheap but wasnt nice as I expected. By the end of the day, I was no different to zombie. The airbnb houseowner was really nice but I just couldnt continue the conversation right after.ZX told me what happened the night before, how i snored to sleep and took over the bed but I have zero memory on it.

Australia brisbane day 1

We took the bus and train to lone pine sanctuary early in the morning, our aim today is to see as many animals. I particularly interested in Dingo as i have never seen they caged a dog in the the zoo but knowing he is the biggest predator on land, i come to understand it.Also we saw lot of koala and Cindy's favourite "pokemon"-the platypus. Its is a type of marsupial with toxic secreted by gland on right rear foot. Its beak acts as electroreceptorto search for food. We saw lot of kangaroos and wallabies and slowly come to know that the kangaroos are overloaded here and thus they are always killed like how the stray dogs are being treated in malaysia. Wombats are hard to be seen as they are always sleeping. We watched the raptor show. After about 3hours, zx came fetch us. It has been 2years since I last saw him and he hasn't change a bit. Still that uncle that I used to know, always have everything in his fingertips. He brought us aroung gatton and his uni. Then we went back to his house and visited Christina's house for CF session. There are bunches of people. We had hotpot and played game called avalon after.

The night was great but I was so tired by the end of the day.
