Paris day 4 and 5

The forth day was the perfect day!
Although we woke up late and only managed to start our journey at 11a.m. but we visited all the places of interest in our itinerary. We went to the wax museum first.
With the Paris Pass, we can just cut the queue and entered before the others!
We saw the sculptures of Jacky, Obama, Lady Gaga, Picasso, and many more. Then, we went for the chocolate factory! our main purpose is of course chocolate!

Lady Gaga

Michael Jackson

Jacky Chan
We went for river Cruise that night!

The fifth day we went to the Espade Dali early in the morning.
The artist was famous as he likes to use his moustache for art.
On the way, we passed by the wall of love and the places where a lot of painter gathered around. I had my portrait drawn by one of the painter who has worked there for 45 years.
Then, only we rushed to Dali. Then, we headed towards Saint Chapelle and notre dome which situated on the island near the cite railway station. Then, we went to the contemporary museum and when we passed by the Pont Alexander Bridge, we saw a guy proposed to a lady.

this is such as hidden place!
lot of painter here and they are all equally good!

Our last station for today is the museum Rodin and we saw the thinker, kisser, and the famous gate of hell. At night, we went to the Shakespeare Company and bookstore. I can say that this is the place that I love the most and I will surely come back again for next time and I will spend one whole day here.

Opps, we had Escagot as our lunch.

Paris day 1 and 2- Romantic CIty

We woke up early this morning, feeling excited for the Paris trip. This is the first Europe country I am going to visit!
The journey didn't go on as smooth as we planned.
We didn't get anywhere on the first day.
Our flight landed at Belgium and thus we took bus to Paris City.
Instead of using an hour, we spent a day to go there.
Then, we faced difficulty to figure out how to use the metro and RER ticket machine. Parisian here are friendly enough to guide us
However, we had no idea what they are trying to say other than Bonjour( hello) and Merci( thanks)
The hostel didn't turned out to be as good as we expected.
A lot of strangers trying to approach us with no good intention..
We felt unsafe going around.
Finally, we decided to change our identity. Instead of Malaysian, we said we are from Canada. (I had no idea why we did that, I think people just think that we are weird)
We were so tired for the first day after a long journey in the bus. After grabbing some sandwiches from the shop nearby, we didn't even dare to eat there and we just took it away and had out dinner in our dorm.

The next morning, we woke up quite early at 7am, accompanying Gabby to church for the Church Mass before going to Eiffel tower!
There are 2 ways to get to the first and second floor, either by using stair or escalator and to reach the top, we must use escalator. The queue for using the escalator to reach the second floor was so long! Thus, we used the stairs instead. The stairs are spiralling up but it is not a long distance.
The scenery from here is high enough for us to appreciate the beauty of the city. All the buildings are built in organised way.

*tallest in Paris
*tallest man made in the world
*it best seen from Champ de Mars
*first level is mre thn 300steps
* it took 2 years done frm 1887
*by Gustave Eiffel
*first critisize by France artist
*25 millions visitors per year

It shows a big difference compare to building in Kuala Lumpur! No wonder foreigner always ask why building in Malaysia built without proper plan.
The buildings here form a star shape as all the buildings arrange in this way emerging out for a centre point.  The famous Invalid Hotel, Notre Dame Cathedral, Musee Orsay , Musee Lourve, the serine River, Pont de Art, Arc of Triumph can be seen clearly from this height. The higher we went up, the better the view and colder we get.
Surprisingly, we spent a whole day here, taking photos, enjoying our own jokes and seeing how the Eiffel tower changed its appearance from morning to night!
I love the view of Eiffel Tower at night! It looks better than I expected.  You can get up the first floor for 3.5euro but somehow we get to use the escalator to reach the second floor without buying the ticket.Teehee...
To reach the top from the second floor, we need to buy another ticket for 6 euro.

Then, we took a 3 hours tour to go around the town. It was super cold! I felt like I am one of the victim in Titanic movie! But still, wow! The night view made me feel that everything is worthy! I just feel unrealistic looking at the beauty of everything around me. All the buildings are full of colour with the special lighting and the colour changes from time to time. The Eiffel tower is shining with  pink spot during Christmas Eve and I really appreciated that I am here together with my lovely housemates!
Then, we took the hop-on-hop-off bus our to admire the beauty of Paris!

Paris eye!

We passed by the famous Arc de Triumph

Then, we decide to have our dinner in the famous Fouchon restaurant but too bad, when we reached there, we found out that it is not open during Christmas Eve! We tried to find other restaurant but most of it is close.
After that, we went to Pont de Arts which also known as the lover bridge( you will know it if you watch the triumph in the sky!)
