I departed from my house late
at night 6.30pm and waited for my flight at 10pm.
While i was packing my
luggage, my mum asked me how I gonna put my lappie and I said big luggage
without thinking which now I think back is ridiculous.
I waited at the airport and
read the book "when breath becomes air". It is about a neurosurgeon
named Paul Kalanithi who get to know he had stage4 lung CA at age og 36 and next
he became a patient struggled to live. It made me start wrestle about the
probability of how would I face it if death comes right at my face.
It was quite a long wait.
After aboard, I felt so tired
and straight i fall asleep.
I woke up after an hour and
watched Logan, about Xmen who sacrificed himself trying to save his daughter.
It was really touching.
After 4hours flight, I touched
down in Bangalore and need to wait for another 6 hours for transit and the time
here is2 and 1/2hours behind Malaysia’S time
I slept in one of the slanting
chair near Coffee Day and it was too cold so I woke up every hour.
I woke up around 5am and went
to checked in my luggage to Mangalore, another 1hour flight.
I dont really like the people
here as they give me quite bad impression and trying to cut queue all the
times.
My friend Yu Xuan came and
picked me up in the airport and he rented a rickshaw that cost each of us
350rupee and I took a shower before visiting his college-KSHegdes
It has a few lecture hall.
Although it doesnt seem grand but it has everything it needs to have.
After that we went to Grunberry
for lunch and I order bali fish and it turned out to be really salty!!!!
Then I took a bus to forum
mall and then to
sultan battery for boat to tannirbhavi
beach. We took nap there and had some ice cream after.
Then we went to city centre
mall for a short walk and then to bior for dinner.
Day2
Today we departed from
Mangalore to Manipal at 7am and it took us 1 1/2 hours to get there by bus.
After we arrived, we checked
in in one of the place called Lakeview hotel for one night. Then we went to our
college to settle some of my application thing and they asked us to come back
after lunch so we went to one of the stall behind hospital and ordered mackerel
and scapel. It was really nice and they gave us mountain of rice and the curry
is actually served in a tong.
Then we had a walk around the
school compound and had a nice chat.
We went to the office and
waited for almost 2hours and get nothing done. They told me i had pay for my
education fee before I came over but I wasn’t being noticed and they refused to
take in cash.
We then meet up with landlord,
Grace at 5pm. She was really a nice lady and the room look well to me and she
is willing to rent it to me for RM500 for a month!
we went back to hotel after
and took a nap before we went for dinner in egg factory.
They served really awesome
pasta and i ordered musty mushroom and their pizza menu was really interesting
as it is presented in periodic table.
we met up with Mei Huey n Jonathan
and they are really nice to me.
