15/12/26 seventh day in Morocco

This morning we did the tour around Fes itself.
I slept quite late the night before ( around 4pm) so i hardly woke up the day after, around 8pm.
We had the same breakfast as usual, roti canai but the good thing was we have orange juice today!
The first station we stopped by is Argan Oil factory. I bought 13 eur aloe vero lotion for my sister.
Then we proceeded to another 2 places which are leather making factory, cactus fibre factory and copper and silver making utensil factory.
Astynnia was pretty interested in leather products - bags and jackets so she tried some own but the price is not so affordable by students like us.
He tried to persuaded us by showing how good the qualities can be.
When we insisted that we were not going to buy, he changed to " muka asam" and turned away.
We werent so satisfied with this kind of service.
Then we proceeded to cactus fiber factory.
The guy was trying to ask for the colour that might possibly catch our eyes but too bad we had no intention to buy to.
We finished the tour and went back to the same restaurant yesterday and i ordered the same food- spanish omelette.
At around 2 pm, we took a taxi to Train station.
When we arrived, the " tour guide" was trying to get money from us but he said it in a very indirect way.
We were so confused by what he means and we get so pissed off after knwing that we actually have to pay for that.
However, we do appreciate him for being so friendly and make sure we are safe all times.
In the train, little did we realise that we  could make it to the hotel we booked originally coz we will only get there at 7pm.
So we get there and simply walked around.
Luckily we

15/12/25 Sixth day in morocco

BlToday we took a mini van to chefchaoeon.
This city is also known as the blue city as all buildings here are blue in colour.
We had our breakfast at 730, as usual,Roti  canai and coffee.
It took us 4 hours to reach there.
The trip cost us 350 dirham per person.
This is the private tour though.
On the van, we made so much noise and had fun.
Get to know Gwen more as well mayb as I was sitting beside her. Gaudi? Museum? Dutch Lady?
We took 4 hours walk around the city. We stopped by Morisco restaurant for lunch, ordered pil pil shrimp Targine but it turned out to be sotong.
To satisfy our appetite, we ordered banana pancake too.
It took quite a long time for food to be done.
We took lot of photos in the alley. Most of it are doors, Santorini Oia feel...
There was a guy who sell carpet trying to bring us to see the spring water but we were too scared to follow.
We finished our own tour on time.
Then we called the driver, we took another 4 hours back. It was so hot in the van and we were damn hungry.
It was the first time i got escorted to the restaurant.
It was about 10pm but we still ordered.80 dirham 3 meal course each. The spanish omelette and harira- chickpea soup definitely worth the price

15/12/23 Forth Day Morocco

We woke up early in the morning for Sahara Trip.
We had our breakfast, same as usual, " Roti Canai"
Then, we departed.
We stopped by a few times in different village.
There was one selling carpet made of camel and sheep skin.
The baby camel one is one of the shoftest.
Lot of kids surrounded us to buy their grasshoppers. I felt bad to look into their eyes even.
The trip was kinda long, took us whole day. We even stopped by a place called Gorge.
People do wall climbing there. One of my bucket list.
The epic was the night. We supposed to have camel ride to Sahara desert but it turned up that they have not enough of those camel so we waited for second batches with another 3 Spanish guys.
We were served tea and biscuit, quite sad that we might skipped the sunset.
They told us that we gonna take the jeep instead.
When we were about to enter. They asked us to climb up there.
It was more than we expected.
The sand mountain made the journey more like roller coaster and there wasn't any safety precaution.
No belt and we hold the bar with our barehands.
The desert view was breathtaking and it was all worthy.
It remined me of  三毛流浪记.
We arrived an hour and half earlier, took many photos with the moon.
The tent was nicely decorated with 3beds, gimme "mongolian feel"
We HTHT for an hour and they arrived.
The campfire was another epic.
We sang "kasih sayang" and did camel dance tgt.
Looking at the moon and the sky full of stars , thinking of how beauty the universe can be...
The moon is so reachable
We are the morrocan nw😜
This is the jeep car!
Best campfire ever!

15/12/21 second day in Morocco

I woke up a bit late, 845am, made a bit of planning.
There are 5 places in my list today- Koutuba mosque, is one of the first mosque ever built here as building related to Islamic was forbidden before.( koutuba stand for death)
Jemaa El Fnna- the famous market withvlot of spices
Palace of Bahia- Bahia stand for brilliance
Tomb Saahia- there are total 3 rooms of tomb here
Last but not least, the place I am looking forward the most, Jardin Mojarelle, aka the blue garden. I looked through some photos. Everything in there are blue. It is beautiful.
There are lot more places to visit but I made up my mind for the main one that i really want to go
I got my breakfast, something like Roti Canai, they called it " cape", coffee, orange juice and some bread and small pieces of cake.
I had some of those, not that bad.
I moved my luggage out coz I am changing to another room when Cindy they all arrived.
1130am, I started my adventure of the day.
The weather is so good.
I decided to make poker face...for safety purpose.
The koutuba mosque is one of the best. Breathtaking...
I had quite bad impression on the market though.
The lady drawing hanna juz forced to draw a flower on my hand! But i managed to pull myself back.
There was a guy in the shop selling herb trying to offer me some herbs but I rejected and he seems quite angry as well.
It took me an hour to walk to the garden mojarella.
It is all worth... Such a beautiful places😊

First Day In Morocco

Sahara Desert is always a place that I wanted to visit so much since I was in secondary school.
It was when I started reading a book on 《撒哈拉的故事》- a random book I picked up from my grandma's old bookshelf.
I always admire strong lady who are brave to do things on their own will regardless of what people around going to say about her. She obviously did that by chosing the life that she wants to live, and her adventurous story become a legend.

I stayed overnight in my friend's house and pay a visit as well. I felt so lazy to depart at first. Little did I know I might have regretted if I didn't ( continue to read the posts for next few days and you might understand why did I say so, the Morocco Trip is probably going to beat my current first rank country which is Iceland!!!)

I was watching "鬼和你OT" while waiting for my flight in the airport. My best friend, Yu Xuan called as usual. He always wish me a good trip wherever I go and I always appreciate that. The flight took me 3 hours and 40 minutes. It is located right below Spain and Portugal though.
I didn't really imagine how an African country would be like. However, I do learn now.

I first arrived in the aiport and it was late at night. I called the host and he said he can send me a driver which cost me 15euro. I decided to take a bus instead as it only took me 3 euro-30 Moroccan Dirham.
The bus driver ended up dropping me in the main bus station as I only asked him to stop by the station nearest to Rmira.
I decided to ask around for direction. There was a group of guys asking if i need help. I gave them the address.

A morocco girl pulled me away. She told me I should never talk to guy here as they have more intention that I can imagine. She had an argument with the guy and the guy was pretty fierced and he shouted back, asked her to be aware. I was frightened. I felt so grateful. At the mean time, I felt bad as the Moroccan girl was being threatened. On the way towards the hostel, she asked me how can I be alone on the street? where is my friends? She even mentioned that I might not know how dangerous the place can be.
The other Moroccan girl was trying to offend me instead. She told the other girl that I might be just brave and stuffs like that.
I smiled, not knowing what to respond.
She helped me to make a call and the host named Ramadhan picked me up.
When she brought me to my hostel, and on the way we met Ramadhan and she decided to go back.
She not even dared to turned back to that alley as now she is in trouble as well. I felt so bad but grateful that I met an angel.

I took a warm shower when I back to my room, continue watching my drama. Then, I realized that I forgot to bring my adapter so I went back to the I borrowed from the boss. He invited me for tea.
He neither good person anyway, acting a bit weird, kept telling me how special I am, of course i know I am normal.
I quickly greeted him night before anything happened.
Luckily I got my adaptor...
Charged my phone... Watched a bit of drame.. Went to bed...
This is another trip I made no plan...
As usual... My way of travel..
But i do hope for a better 2mrw..Especially 3D2N desert tour!
