part 2 of day 2 in lim ming shan

Then, we went to three brother cave(gua tiga adik beradik)
the cave is not only made up by limestone
but also granite
it lied at the bottom of bukit Panching
it is a cave of Buddhism

second day in Lim ming shan

The second morning, we woke up at 5 o'clock~
why so early?
because lim ming taufu is so imminent so it sells out very fast
then, we headed to rainbow waterfall
anyone who miss this trip will be repented
with four wheel car
as the road is so crook and uneven
after one and half our on the four wheel car
which is so bumpy
(we sat behind without car's roof, on the floor~they put a lot of cushion)
still, my bone cracked!
haha~
after that, we went up the mountain on foot
there are a lot of glacis
and it can be quite slippery
after some times
we reached the destination
wow~by the name
rainbow waterfall
is astounding!
i never see so breathtaking scenery before
a rainbow on the waterfall
that i felt like touching it!

just kinda self-explanatory
haha~that is the four wheel car~ my butt so pain!
look! behind~!

imagine one day you can touch the rainblow by your own hand?
When i was still young
i always had sudden urge to jump up and down when i spotted that semicircular, abound rainbow i n front of me
imagine how wonderful is it!
pointing to my mum
and i always make a lot of wishes
may be it a just a legend and fable that i once heard from my relatives
that the dream will comes true

knowing nothing
i assumed it as magic
when i grown up
learning all about science
i knew that it is only the image of reflection of light on water drplets
i never had that kind of "child-like excitement "anymore
because i know it is not a magic~

but different countries adduce different fable
For Germany, they felt believed to see a rainbow mainly because they believe that
before the end of the world
no rainbow will appear
so the appearance of rainbow ell them that they still have long life to live on
For American, they believe that the rainbow is the "pathway for soul"
In japan, people believe that the rainbow is the "floating bridge of heaven"
whereas the people in hawaii believe that the rainbow is the path to upperworld
that are all beautiful fantasy
but for certain countries
for instance
slavonic people
they discordant with all that idea
it will lead to death
they believe that if you look at the base of the rainbow
it will eventually lead to death
some even said that pointing at the highest point of the rainbow will bring you bad luck
personally
i favored the legend of irish the most
i believe that at the end of every rainbw
there is a pot of fold guarded by the leprechaun
which is mischievous. sly and cunning
he knows to trick the unwitting human out of his booty
i remember the legend is somehow like this
the man who made the leprechaun tell him the whereabout of the valuable
then he tied a ribbon on the bush in the big field
and ask leprechaun not to take it off
so that he can take the shove lto take the valuable from the shrubbery
but then when he cae back

he realised a; the bushes is tied with red robbon
 and the leprechaun is gone
i like fairytales a lot
no matter how unrealistic it is
there are still a lot more legend on rainbow
like the maiden of rainbow in hawaii
and.....

well, despite all this
i really love the rainbow
its beauty s so spectacular yet it is so transience
just purely it potent and nature beauty
i hardly resist to believe all the fables about it
science?
hardly popped out my mind anymore
haha~
when i saw the rainbow in waterfall
when i stand under the waterfall
it washed away all my agonize and vexation
nothing can derogate the impression of rainbow in my heart

Lim-ming shan trip

lim-ming shan is here!

During Aidilfitri, my family and i went on to another trip in Sungai Lembing
It was a last minutes decision, we flipped through the newspaper and
the breathtaking scenery attracted us so much!
That moment. we made a decision to climb up the lembing hill, also known as panorama hill
to look at the beautiful sunrise
as well as the sea of clouds on the other side!
kill 2 birds with one stone?
indeed!
many describe these place as place of heaven!
can we not be attracted then?
moreover, there are also another attractive spot known as rainbow waterfall!
Then, my sister got some phone contact from internet
haven't book any room yet
and somemore it is during Aidilfitri~
we already packed our luggage
my dad already started the engine
and we stared another new journey!
to a fantasy world!

opps~yeah~this is a 3 days 2 night trip!
when we reached the destination, it was almost 3 o clock
so, we went to the inn~
After we unpacked our luggage, we gathered outside the inn
and the host of the inn was so kind that he volunteered to bring us around
since it was quite late already
we can neither go to panorama hill or rainbow waterfall
and he brought us to the subterranean tin mine area(which is closed!lol)
it was once paying tribute to sungai lembing as one of the richest manufacture of tin
before the drop of the price of that commodity in 1984

The museum is located at the former residence of the mine manager
the building still retain the british architectural features
Well, the museum gave us a rough idea on the history of mine and its glory day
The sad thing is the mines tunnel is no longer safe for visit
as it is not as stable as before
so, it was closed
The deepest tunnel is Myth tunnel which measured 70o meters below the ground.
Taibeto tunnel is 500 meters
The distance betwwen these 2 tunnel is 30 meters
and the total length of the tunnel is 332 meters
we didn;t make it to the sungai lembing museum which showcase the history of sunterraanean tin mine
located at the old turn-of-the-century town
as it is closed during aidilfitri

we can find a few interestind items there
hmm...
drilling machines~helmet~railway track
bah....
when i looked from outside
that all i can see la~

Then, we headed to the so called diamond house
actually this diamond house is belong to a couple
his hubby has a habit to collect stone
i mean"shiny stone"
before the people here know what is diamond
after that, this kind of diamond stone become so well known
and he made his hose a museum of diamond~
haha
diamond house

this is a tunnel full of coins on the wall

whee......
