Lim-ming shan trip

lim-ming shan is here!

During Aidilfitri, my family and i went on to another trip in Sungai Lembing
It was a last minutes decision, we flipped through the newspaper and
the breathtaking scenery attracted us so much!
That moment. we made a decision to climb up the lembing hill, also known as panorama hill
to look at the beautiful sunrise
as well as the sea of clouds on the other side!
kill 2 birds with one stone?
indeed!
many describe these place as place of heaven!
can we not be attracted then?
moreover, there are also another attractive spot known as rainbow waterfall!
Then, my sister got some phone contact from internet
haven't book any room yet
and somemore it is during Aidilfitri~
we already packed our luggage
my dad already started the engine
and we stared another new journey!
to a fantasy world!

opps~yeah~this is a 3 days 2 night trip!
when we reached the destination, it was almost 3 o clock
so, we went to the inn~
After we unpacked our luggage, we gathered outside the inn
and the host of the inn was so kind that he volunteered to bring us around
since it was quite late already
we can neither go to panorama hill or rainbow waterfall
and he brought us to the subterranean tin mine area(which is closed!lol)
it was once paying tribute to sungai lembing as one of the richest manufacture of tin
before the drop of the price of that commodity in 1984

The museum is located at the former residence of the mine manager
the building still retain the british architectural features
Well, the museum gave us a rough idea on the history of mine and its glory day
The sad thing is the mines tunnel is no longer safe for visit
as it is not as stable as before
so, it was closed
The deepest tunnel is Myth tunnel which measured 70o meters below the ground.
Taibeto tunnel is 500 meters
The distance betwwen these 2 tunnel is 30 meters
and the total length of the tunnel is 332 meters
we didn;t make it to the sungai lembing museum which showcase the history of sunterraanean tin mine
located at the old turn-of-the-century town
as it is closed during aidilfitri

we can find a few interestind items there
hmm...
drilling machines~helmet~railway track
bah....
when i looked from outside
that all i can see la~

Then, we headed to the so called diamond house
actually this diamond house is belong to a couple
his hubby has a habit to collect stone
i mean"shiny stone"
before the people here know what is diamond
after that, this kind of diamond stone become so well known
and he made his hose a museum of diamond~
haha
