15~3~18 third day in iceland

I I Looking forward for the day to start!
Been waiting to ride the horse in iceland so much! They were well known as they are always know. As the 5 gait horse with 2 additinal skills other than tolt anc galloping.
We booked the viking horse riding and the golden circle afternoon tour quite early.
The viking horse riding took us about an hour plus. I personally love the horse with black mane and I got a black horse named panta! She is definitely a good giirl. The icelanic horses were so tame that they hardly fight! Also, they seldom have any disease.
They also love to bump to eo. We all got horses with different persinalities such as those who like to " comtemplate about life like mine, horse that love food like Rachel's and the clumsy one like Cindy's.
After the viking tour, we ordered chicken shop there and went on for another 45 minutes.
After the horse riding, we had our golden circle tour. I think all of us were so tired that we fall asleep in the bus. They explained to us lot if history about iceland. We got down of the bus 2-3 times.
The first stop is a place called pingveller. None of us get the word and all of us thaught that it is parliment.
It is one of the famous national park in iceland.
lies in a rift valley that marks the crest of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. It is at the northern end of Þingvallavatn, the largest natural lake in Iceland.Well, the parliment actually situated here.
Then, we went to geysier in iceland.
Geysir lies in the Haukadalur valley on the slopes of Laugarfjall hill, which is also the home to Strokkur geyser about 50 metres south.

Eruptions at Geysir can hurl boiling water up to 70 metres in the air. However, eruptions may be infrequent, and have in the past stopped altogether for years at a time.

After that, we went to gullfoss in iceland.

After a whole day, we planned to get back to the hostel as soon but we were so lazy to cook and we decided to eat in the street. We smell the good food from the noodle shop and feel so temptinc. Little dis we know tht we will come back for the second time as the food was so tempting!
We went back to hostel right after this! Feeling so satisfied

15~3~17-Second day in iceland

Woke up this morning, feeling so damn lazy to move. Instead of going for the normal routine, I went back to sleep, only get to go out at around 11.30am, we took 30 minutes bus to Mountain Esja.
Not really fully equip, but we assumed we had all we need, a pair of waterproof boots, a pair of sunglasses I just bought for 10euros( investment for future) and some Richtea for picnic at the summit of themountain.
We started our hiking tour at 2.30 pm sharp. We did some research on the most famous mountain in Iceland, Mount Esja. We came out with the conclusion that " the right path is always right" * thanks to Adalie!* And we kept to the right path without any doubt.
We had no idea it might lead us to the unreturned journey.
Our intention at first was to go for level one trail, but it seemed that we went on for the harder level.
Feeling excited, we laughed all the way, took thousands video for memories.
Our first try stepping into the snowice is ridiculous as our feet just sinked deep few inches like quicksand.
The path was getting steeper all the way up, to the mud and rocks, trying to climb using all our four limbs.
To make it joyious, we sang different kind of song, Rolling in the deep, 还珠格格的当,有一个姑娘,我是风儿你是沙 and so on...
We slipped a few times but with the assistance of each other and a few stop, we manages to made it to point 3( total 6 point to the top).
Then, we had our Richtea break before we proceed, enjoying the scenery, taking more selfie.
While Cindy and I took care of those stuffs, Rachel and Adalie searched for other way down as it was quite impossible for us to go down the same way. If so, we might just ski down! By saying so, you can imagine how steep the slope can be!
After 20 minutes of waiting, we felt a bit weird that they still haven't come back yet. We started to make lot of assumption... Then we decided to go search for them. We thought that they might get caught by the quicksand or sth.
They came back with smiley face... They found an easy route downhill so we followed.
We started off easy as we just followed the trail they made.
However, as we went on, we realised that we were facing dead end, the cliff covered with snow was right in front of us and it was quite impossible for us to move on.
So, we went on to another route which we need to go into the jungle. We were so desperate that we need to duck through it. Soon later we realise it was not going to work so we went uphill instead of going down which take up more of our energy.
We were so exhausted and Rachel started to feel * jelly* as her leg started to shiver. She took up so much courage to conquer her fear of height.
Adalie and I was trying to find a way put and we were so lucky that a bridge appeared right in front of us!
We hugged each other, telling how grateful we are!
We acted like snow angel.
When we get to the bottom, we were all wet and our boots were full of ice.
However, we were still need to rush for the northern light at 900pm. We were quite surprised to see northern light all the way back actually! The sky was just extraordinary clear!
As we walked all the way back, we met the " Icelanic Dragon" who asked us to take a photo with him.
He talked in Japanese with us and we replied ichiban blah and blah
When we reached home, Daniel was ready there to take us to the place with most aurora... With citylight.
We were all wet but we only get to change our socks and went on to the " hunting aurora night".
It was the best night ever. We get the car stopped in the middle of the road as Thia( Daniel's gf) refilled the tank with gas instead of the diesel!!!
However, I would say that it is our luck as the view of aurora here is awesome!
We took quite a number of photos. It was freezing cold out there!
Still, we insisted to stay longer and I would say it is the wise decision as the aurora was getting more and the pattern changed so fast!
After thousands selfie with the aurora, we hardly feel our feet anymore! Our fingers were so stiff to move anymore....
We felt satisfied and decided to go back.. It was one of the best experience ever....

15/3/16 first day in iceland

Yesterday is one of my worst nightmare ever!
We waited at the london airport for 10hours before we get on wowair to Reyjavik iceland
When we get to Modd Bus Station at 11sth, it was raining heavily and the wind was so strong that we hardly stand still.
The bus journey from the airport to Daniel's house took 45 minutes.
Feeling desperate, we went into Netto shopping mall to get a lady to help us to get a cab.
The cab reached in 5 minutes time. When we arrived, My friend told me they are going to get my luggage.
While the taxi driver was about to go, I realised they only get my luggage with clothes but not the one with my ipad and DSLR!
I got crazy, ran after the taxi, sprint like Maraton Champion!* exaggerating* Haha, I got the taxi stopped at the junction. Only I get to know Daniel actually know that taxi guy and I dong even have to run I guess....
Anyway, this is the first day of the " chasing after journey"!
