day 5

this was the last day in Cambodia
so reluctant to go back
i had made new peers here
so cute and chubby little baby
haha
rebellion self of him made him more cute!
here he is! only hair in the middle.awwhh~so cute
haha?cute one always more evil!~wakaka
kept hitting me using watle bottle when he sat behind me!~
but no one will get infuriated or enraged by him~
avail of cuteness?
guess so~haha
my brother's new friend!~so reluctant to separate yeah~
he is also that "monster"brother~haha~
as cute as him of course
but he is a shy boy~
Bon voyage!~
will miss Cambodia~

part 2 of my day4 in Cambodia

the gift from a small little girl who sold postcard  of the cambodia's scenery.
A picture means thousands words
it is so succinct yet significant!
flower
smile
for souvenir
for good luck
for you!

hello!
very nice to meet you
thank you for you coming
to see Angkor Wat
I give you flower for souvenir
I wish you good luck
in your job and all your family
I am very happy to meet you
I like your smile
I hope
 you like my flower
I hope to see you again
I hope you don't forget me
from us.
Bye! Bye!

words are powerful
they tells us what we can't see
they live in pauperism
they are a group of people being marginalized
they are illiterated
never gone to school before
but they have hope
they put trust to all that comes to them
they hide a small piece of rag, squish of wafer paper in the poster
even their ages are between 7 -12
they know
they need to survive hard
to maintain the upkeep of family
not a burden
but someone who can contribute
education, will spend lots of money
they long for it
but the chance is so
with hope, with the scanty words they learn
they give you their best wish.....

before our bus went away
i looked back
i wanted to have a better memory on her face
then, i realise they all look the same
so wan
the figure are
so twiglike
but their mind, their ambition is significant
some people call them pauper
but look at their silhouette
so long, so big when the sun shine on them from the other sides
that reflect the reall inner self of them
the reality makes them stronger
in anywhere else, they can survive better than anyone of us
in such a young age, yet the burden is twi or even triplefold than us
i wonder
will you call they pauper again if you have enough wisdom to ponder about it~?
NO!
they are abundance
they have courage and strength to go on with their life
pothole? hamper? thwart?impediment? on the way~
will never stop them
from pursuing their dream
as long as they have hope......

part 1 of day 4 trip in cambodia

remember i said
 at the very first beginning?
this is trip
that i might encounter with nature at its most sublime?
which disclose through the trip in bahkeng hill
its golden hue of sunset
just by looking at it
is indeed a wonderful chance to engage your mind, body and spirit
despite the extensive media coverage of troble all around the world
i wonder the palnet is still an awe-inspiring and beautiful place on earth!
now , i found it!and my spirit soar~!
and a journey through a landscape beyond the imagination?
now it is
angkor wat
one of the 7 wonder in the world
a significant arhiological site ever
the magic of cambodia
this historical building has a steady stram of visitors
everyone is curious about this temple?
why?
and i get to explore it~
truly experience it
mundane?
never!
haha~
with eloquent tour guide
talking about these interesting story
like
once, there was a woman who so in love wit hthe temple and wanted to put her ash of body here after she died!
it is not a fad!
after a long walk around the temple
we realidse he compound of Angkor wat is much more magnificient and greatter rhan the angkor wat temple itslef
according to the tour guide
the temple was covered by the forest
for about 4 centuries
it was built by the khmer king
long times ago
and found by a french man 150 years ago!
the 5 peak of building represent mount meru~which means the house of gods and divines. To the king himself, the angkor wat represent the power and divinity!

how many acknowlege that behind this magnificient buliding
there were a lot of loss, suffering and unberable moment
Khmer Rounge who wanted all the commoner in Cambodia to involve themselves in this gigantic programme
evoke chaos
as half of the Cmbodian died!
nearly 2 millions people lost their life
they struggled to survive
they sacrified

par2 of day 3 trip in cambodia

imagine you are standing on the pyramid
looking down
the mysterious of the verdure
looking up
there are beautiful sunset
the ascent was promenade classic and agreeable
is a long steep path
arrive at summit for it panoramic view of Angkor
then we took a long rest
and we saw the golden hue of sunset
so breathtaking
the most memorable sight
and then we stayed longer
the darkness slowly loss its intensity
i love it so much!

millions of people? atop of us?
eye popping!mind blowing!

victory~!
Then we had our dinner
with cultural show~
whee........

the food is finger-licking good~!

part 1 of day3 trip in cambodia

after the first day(suit the environment)
and second day(learn about all the historical building)
the third day is my favourable trip
close to the nature
best chance to seclude yourself from the bustle of life
we proceeded to the siem reap by express coach
well, here
we can see 8000 years ancient bridge and that HAIRY!TANTATULAS
sold by hawkers!
tantatulas is one of the most treacherous animal in the world among jellyfish, snakes, centipedes, lion fish, leeches
and this is Cambodian's food!
frigid?is cockcroach!is their food!nw cockcroach afraid of us ?or we afraid of cockroach?
tantatulas
picture in front is lovely!the background is geli!
frosty?
haha~
enough of all these geli thing
we come to the ancient bridge
which diversify the tourists
it was build during the khmer empire
and through this bridge
we an see how skillful and strength the constructors
from the longetivity of this building
it is not only play a substancial rule in transportation
but also in agriculture sector
there are lots of hole below the bridge.hmmm...i wonder how the bridge can withstand the change of weather and its assailant for so many years.....!

Then, we went to the Les Artisan D'Angkor as well as known as handicraft center
there, young people are trained how to make handicraft
for instance
wood carving
,drawing motifs
silk weaving
silver plating(art of metal)
they even won he award from UNESCO
as best supporter of handicraft~

part 2 of my day 2 in Cambodia!=P

there are so many ways the monster! used to interrogate the pirsoner! they are being treated like animals., cut them using knives, sear them with hot instrument, suffocate them using plastics bag, put their head into the water! pull their fingers off and poured alcohol on it.Force them to sit on ice with naked body!
the classrooms converted into the prison and around the s-21 prison, there were lots of electrified barbed wire to prevent the prisoner from escaping. they were being mocked, and tortured.
the gallows with different regulations!~cruel and barbaric!

the gallows was a high school named as s-21 previously, however it was being used as place to carried out genocide and there are only 7 survivors among 17,000 captivator!
they are being treated inhumanity.acrocities applied on them.here, we are being disillustrated of multitude of human frailities
most of the prisoners were being closed for 3 months. Some higher-rank officers were being tortured for even longer times.Through all the pictures, we can see their monstrousness, nefariousness. They even forget they are human too! But, they treated their same kind as animal!~

general view of the secret 21 prison!

After exposure to the barbarity of them
we went russian maret and central market
to keep all that negative thinking off our mind
if not
i think i would not be able to have my dinner
while my mind keep on revolve around all that terrible scenes i just watched
Russian market and central market is the most recommanded sites to do your shopping
as you can find anything you want here
shirt, shoes,necessities, food, etceteras
as long as legitimate things~
best places for souvenir and clothes shopping
but still, you can find a lot of fake and real antiquities here
miniature of buddha, wood craving, silver jewellery
my dad bought a belt and wallet here
well, you can see
he bargained hard!
haha.... to get a fair price
that is the end of the second day in phloem phenn

day 2 in Cambodia

proceed to the second day
the went on a city tour
the venue we were heading for were independence monument, victory monument, royal palace and last but not least the silver pagoda.
The royal palace and the silver pagoda are side by side.
However, they are both separate complexes, thus they are normally visited as one.
If i am not mistaken, there are 4 gates for the building of royal palace
The eastern victory gate is the entrance directly towards the hall of throne
Thus, it is normally used by VIPs or the royalty
Whereas the northen gate which also known as the funeral gate is only opened during the death of monarch
According to the tour guide
after the body of monarch is embalmed
king being embalmed after death~to preserve~permanently!

he would be places in the state of palace for 3 days and his face are covered with gold mask
And is western gate is normally used to execute the condemned prisoners who is going to be killed
Lastly, the southern gate which is used by the commoner and it leads towards the silver pagoda
see! so luxury and lavish!

After the briefing of the tour guide, we went inside the hall of throne
atop of the hall, we noticed there are clown-like face on the pale and it is defined as all-king seeing
The wall is painted in yellow which represent Buddhism and white which represent Hinduism
which is the two main faith of cambodia

Then ,the stage made of boats and nagas captured our eyes
after a long explanation of the tour guide
we knew that it is the throne of the queen which is taller but behind the ornate throne of the king
there are 3 stairs, one for the queen and another 2 for the priests
their duty is too look after the queen during the coronation ceremony

And what we get to know is that coronation ceremony normally spent a large amount of money
as it held for 7 days continuously
so lavish!
Then, our eloquent tour guide start telling us a story
i don't know if that is true but it is interesting

once, there is a king named sihamoni who did not have queen
and that time his kingdom was in poverty
so he changed the rule
and said that the coronation ceremony only lasted for 3 days
expect i continue the story?
no!
that all!
i don't really knw what is the point of this story
haha~
but who cares?

then , we went staright to the left had side of the hall of throne,
there,we could see a very small building
walking downstair, we discovered a small display room of the costume the king wore during coronation ceremony
king's costume! and my mum is standing beside it!

and also there are 7 manniquens wearing costume of different colours
and these colours were the preferable colours that the queen  should wear during that 7 days

after that, we went straight to the other side of the hall of throne
which is the right side of course!
there, we found the royal guestroom
and now!
it becomes the room the serve loyalty!

and then we went to silver pagoda
ermm.....
is a little bit contrast with the royal parade
i mean physically
the whole building is so ancient and superannuate!
grey in colour
the ONLY colour....
well, come to the dullsville section. little bit description of this pagoda!
haha~
hmm....actually just lie the wat in thailand
there are multitude of murals running around the wall!
and full of description on the Mahayana and Ramayana myth and memoir!
wow, this pagoda are indeed in poor condition and almost worn-out
heard so previously there was a restoration programme
however
due to lack of money!
the programme halted~
in total,
there are 5 stupas and the ashes of the kings were buried under the ground
well, i can't even remember any name of the kings
well, haha, dun put the spotlight on my grotesque face, the main point is the murals behind!~it represent the memoir of Ramayana!
the centrepiece of this pagoda is the statue of Buddha!
the Buddha of Emerald!

After the city tour on all the historical building
well, quite boring for me actually
but you can see, i try to show that i am jubilious !
smile until my face was contorted!
haha~
well, learn a lot though, sincerely
historical means a lot to CERTAIN people i mean!
but not for me of course

after that
we went on to city tour on museum~
museum?
what comes into your mind?
bromidic?cloying perhaps?
×haha~
i did think so at first
but this is Toul Sleng Museum
haha~remember dungeon in Harry Potter
somehow it looks like that~
instead of saying that it was a drab trip
i realised i learnt more than i expected
because there is a story behind it
that exposed manifold of humanitarian issues and actrocities!
it is all about the massacre happened in Cambodia long time ago
which similar to the holocaust that Hilter plotted on Jews!
it probes my conscience and cynicism on humanitarian ×

pol pot, who is the communist plotted the massacre to torture the cambodian
so cruel yet barbaric!
there are certain rules that they forced to follow!

The regulations of the prison were displayed in each cell on a small black board:
1. You must answer accordingly to my questions. Do not turn them away.
2. Do not try to hide the facts by making pretexts of this and that. You are strictly prohibited to contest me.
3. Do not be a fool for you are a chap who dares to thwart the revolution.
4. You must immediately answer my questions without wasting time to reflect.
5. Do not tell me either about your immoralities or the revolution.
6. While getting lashes or electrification you must not cry at all.
7. Do nothing. Sit still and wait for my orders. If there is no orders, keep quiet. When I ask you to do something. You must do it right away without protesting.
8. Do not make pretexts about Kampuchea Krom in order to hide your jaw of traitor.
9. If you don’t follow all the above rules, you shall get many lashes of electric wire.
10. If you disobey any point of my regulations you shall get either ten lashes or five shocks of electric discharge.

The prisoners couldn't d anything
they couldn't even change the position as they  were abashed by the that they will be tortured again!

cambodia trip(day 1)

Day 1
this was the first time i abroaded airplane!
guess what?
i did't even know there aren't any fix seat for Air Asia!
a bit "sakai"!
met and greeted by the local tour guide
and then the very first thing we bought there was fruit
when my dad paid
i realised the money was Cambodia Riel
(currency converter malaysia ringgit to cambodia riel, if i am not mistaken , 1 MYR=1268KHR)
and according to the tour guide, the time difference between malaysia and cambodia is about 1 hour
haha, due to the time gap
we started our journey at 3.15 and after 1 hour trip
we reached there
looked at the clock hanging on the wall there, still 3.15
is kind of special experience, the restaurant we went is considered as 5 star restaurant there
however, when we tried the chicken dish there, we realised there was fur on it
but once you looked around
perhaps you will say
at least i still got something to eat
there are so many beggars
they are in poverty and hunger
*there are a lot of people out there being destitute and marginalized
some children even deprived of the opportunity to attend school
we are far more lucky
so never ever mourn about your life anymore*
at night, our dad brought us to carcino
it was the very first time i entered
and my dad said he won back the ang pau money he gave my sister
approximately 300
that night
we all slept like log
it had been a tiring day
although we did nothing
haha....
can't really remember the name of hotel but i love it because it is big enough for me to jump!

nah...this is the first carcino i ever entered before
baccarat, roulatte, slot~........
