part 2 of my day4 in Cambodia

the gift from a small little girl who sold postcard  of the cambodia's scenery.
A picture means thousands words
it is so succinct yet significant!
flower
smile
for souvenir
for good luck
for you!

hello!
very nice to meet you
thank you for you coming
to see Angkor Wat
I give you flower for souvenir
I wish you good luck
in your job and all your family
I am very happy to meet you
I like your smile
I hope
 you like my flower
I hope to see you again
I hope you don't forget me
from us.
Bye! Bye!

words are powerful
they tells us what we can't see
they live in pauperism
they are a group of people being marginalized
they are illiterated
never gone to school before
but they have hope
they put trust to all that comes to them
they hide a small piece of rag, squish of wafer paper in the poster
even their ages are between 7 -12
they know
they need to survive hard
to maintain the upkeep of family
not a burden
but someone who can contribute
education, will spend lots of money
they long for it
but the chance is so
with hope, with the scanty words they learn
they give you their best wish.....

before our bus went away
i looked back
i wanted to have a better memory on her face
then, i realise they all look the same
so wan
the figure are
so twiglike
but their mind, their ambition is significant
some people call them pauper
but look at their silhouette
so long, so big when the sun shine on them from the other sides
that reflect the reall inner self of them
the reality makes them stronger
in anywhere else, they can survive better than anyone of us
in such a young age, yet the burden is twi or even triplefold than us
i wonder
will you call they pauper again if you have enough wisdom to ponder about it~?
NO!
they are abundance
they have courage and strength to go on with their life
pothole? hamper? thwart?impediment? on the way~
will never stop them
from pursuing their dream
as long as they have hope......
