15/12/26 seventh day in Morocco

This morning we did the tour around Fes itself.
I slept quite late the night before ( around 4pm) so i hardly woke up the day after, around 8pm.
We had the same breakfast as usual, roti canai but the good thing was we have orange juice today!
The first station we stopped by is Argan Oil factory. I bought 13 eur aloe vero lotion for my sister.
Then we proceeded to another 2 places which are leather making factory, cactus fibre factory and copper and silver making utensil factory.
Astynnia was pretty interested in leather products - bags and jackets so she tried some own but the price is not so affordable by students like us.
He tried to persuaded us by showing how good the qualities can be.
When we insisted that we were not going to buy, he changed to " muka asam" and turned away.
We werent so satisfied with this kind of service.
Then we proceeded to cactus fiber factory.
The guy was trying to ask for the colour that might possibly catch our eyes but too bad we had no intention to buy to.
We finished the tour and went back to the same restaurant yesterday and i ordered the same food- spanish omelette.
At around 2 pm, we took a taxi to Train station.
When we arrived, the " tour guide" was trying to get money from us but he said it in a very indirect way.
We were so confused by what he means and we get so pissed off after knwing that we actually have to pay for that.
However, we do appreciate him for being so friendly and make sure we are safe all times.
In the train, little did we realise that we  could make it to the hotel we booked originally coz we will only get there at 7pm.
So we get there and simply walked around.
Luckily we

15/12/25 Sixth day in morocco

BlToday we took a mini van to chefchaoeon.
This city is also known as the blue city as all buildings here are blue in colour.
We had our breakfast at 730, as usual,Roti  canai and coffee.
It took us 4 hours to reach there.
The trip cost us 350 dirham per person.
This is the private tour though.
On the van, we made so much noise and had fun.
Get to know Gwen more as well mayb as I was sitting beside her. Gaudi? Museum? Dutch Lady?
We took 4 hours walk around the city. We stopped by Morisco restaurant for lunch, ordered pil pil shrimp Targine but it turned out to be sotong.
To satisfy our appetite, we ordered banana pancake too.
It took quite a long time for food to be done.
We took lot of photos in the alley. Most of it are doors, Santorini Oia feel...
There was a guy who sell carpet trying to bring us to see the spring water but we were too scared to follow.
We finished our own tour on time.
Then we called the driver, we took another 4 hours back. It was so hot in the van and we were damn hungry.
It was the first time i got escorted to the restaurant.
It was about 10pm but we still ordered.80 dirham 3 meal course each. The spanish omelette and harira- chickpea soup definitely worth the price
Blue staircase
Blue door
Partner in crime
Spanish omelette as dinner

15/12/23 Forth Day Morocco

We woke up early in the morning for Sahara Trip.
We had our breakfast, same as usual, " Roti Canai"
Then, we departed.
We stopped by a few times in different village.
There was one selling carpet made of camel and sheep skin.
The baby camel one is one of the shoftest.
Lot of kids surrounded us to buy their grasshoppers. I felt bad to look into their eyes even.
The trip was kinda long, took us whole day. We even stopped by a place called Gorge.
People do wall climbing there. One of my bucket list.
The epic was the night. We supposed to have camel ride to Sahara desert but it turned up that they have not enough of those camel so we waited for second batches with another 3 Spanish guys.
We were served tea and biscuit, quite sad that we might skipped the sunset.
They told us that we gonna take the jeep instead.
When we were about to enter. They asked us to climb up there.
It was more than we expected.
The sand mountain made the journey more like roller coaster and there wasn't any safety precaution.
No belt and we hold the bar with our barehands.
The desert view was breathtaking and it was all worthy.
It remined me of  三毛流浪记.
We arrived an hour and half earlier, took many photos with the moon.
The tent was nicely decorated with 3beds, gimme "mongolian feel"
We HTHT for an hour and they arrived.
The campfire was another epic.
We sang "kasih sayang" and did camel dance tgt.
Looking at the moon and the sky full of stars , thinking of how beauty the universe can be...
The moon is so reachable
We are the morrocan nw😜
This is the jeep car!
Best campfire ever!

15/12/21 second day in Morocco

I woke up a bit late, 845am, made a bit of planning.
There are 5 places in my list today- Koutuba mosque, is one of the first mosque ever built here as building related to Islamic was forbidden before.( koutuba stand for death)
Jemaa El Fnna- the famous market withvlot of spices
Palace of Bahia- Bahia stand for brilliance
Tomb Saahia- there are total 3 rooms of tomb here
Last but not least, the place I am looking forward the most, Jardin Mojarelle, aka the blue garden. I looked through some photos. Everything in there are blue. It is beautiful.
There are lot more places to visit but I made up my mind for the main one that i really want to go
I got my breakfast, something like Roti Canai, they called it " cape", coffee, orange juice and some bread and small pieces of cake.
I had some of those, not that bad.
I moved my luggage out coz I am changing to another room when Cindy they all arrived.
1130am, I started my adventure of the day.
The weather is so good.
I decided to make poker face...for safety purpose.
The koutuba mosque is one of the best. Breathtaking...
I had quite bad impression on the market though.
The lady drawing hanna juz forced to draw a flower on my hand! But i managed to pull myself back.
There was a guy in the shop selling herb trying to offer me some herbs but I rejected and he seems quite angry as well.
It took me an hour to walk to the garden mojarella.
It is all worth... Such a beautiful places😊

First Day In Morocco

Sahara Desert is always a place that I wanted to visit so much since I was in secondary school.
It was when I started reading a book on 《撒哈拉的故事》- a random book I picked up from my grandma's old bookshelf.
I always admire strong lady who are brave to do things on their own will regardless of what people around going to say about her. She obviously did that by chosing the life that she wants to live, and her adventurous story become a legend.

I stayed overnight in my friend's house and pay a visit as well. I felt so lazy to depart at first. Little did I know I might have regretted if I didn't ( continue to read the posts for next few days and you might understand why did I say so, the Morocco Trip is probably going to beat my current first rank country which is Iceland!!!)

I was watching "鬼和你OT" while waiting for my flight in the airport. My best friend, Yu Xuan called as usual. He always wish me a good trip wherever I go and I always appreciate that. The flight took me 3 hours and 40 minutes. It is located right below Spain and Portugal though.
I didn't really imagine how an African country would be like. However, I do learn now.

I first arrived in the aiport and it was late at night. I called the host and he said he can send me a driver which cost me 15euro. I decided to take a bus instead as it only took me 3 euro-30 Moroccan Dirham.
The bus driver ended up dropping me in the main bus station as I only asked him to stop by the station nearest to Rmira.
I decided to ask around for direction. There was a group of guys asking if i need help. I gave them the address.

A morocco girl pulled me away. She told me I should never talk to guy here as they have more intention that I can imagine. She had an argument with the guy and the guy was pretty fierced and he shouted back, asked her to be aware. I was frightened. I felt so grateful. At the mean time, I felt bad as the Moroccan girl was being threatened. On the way towards the hostel, she asked me how can I be alone on the street? where is my friends? She even mentioned that I might not know how dangerous the place can be.
The other Moroccan girl was trying to offend me instead. She told the other girl that I might be just brave and stuffs like that.
I smiled, not knowing what to respond.
She helped me to make a call and the host named Ramadhan picked me up.
When she brought me to my hostel, and on the way we met Ramadhan and she decided to go back.
She not even dared to turned back to that alley as now she is in trouble as well. I felt so bad but grateful that I met an angel.

I took a warm shower when I back to my room, continue watching my drama. Then, I realized that I forgot to bring my adapter so I went back to the I borrowed from the boss. He invited me for tea.
He neither good person anyway, acting a bit weird, kept telling me how special I am, of course i know I am normal.
I quickly greeted him night before anything happened.
Luckily I got my adaptor...
Charged my phone... Watched a bit of drame.. Went to bed...
This is another trip I made no plan...
As usual... My way of travel..
But i do hope for a better 2mrw..Especially 3D2N desert tour!

15/10/3 Second Day of Frisbee Games

We spent 12hours on trip yesterday, finally get to the host's house.
Woke up at 730 next morning, get ready to depart at 815. I am glad that I had good night sleep.
It started off good. We didnt get the first point but still trying hard. I had couple of nice carch and throw.
Joe was saying that I am doing good job.
I am pretty proud of myself. Then, i realised i wasnt doing a great job in defencing. I was trying real hard to get into the tempo.
I was being asked to go for end zone. My thigh hurted so much that I feel so bad that i couldnt run fast enough but I really do try so hard.
Then, i realised I am not really keeping myself in motion.
And I tried in the end.
I did a lot of contemplation, 7 games in a role, at least on for 21games.
I am really do feel so saddd=(((

15/8/28 last day in temple

I know i am gonna miss this place so much!
Awesome people hre
I spent my last day with this Croatian lady who has telepath connection with animal-cool stuff!
Went for biking in the forest path and swimming😊well spent.
I really love every single one of them here. Before I left, H gave me a small notes, telling how appreciative she had me here. She gave me some sweet that they made and I really love those. They called it spiritual ball. She wishes me luck in my spiritual path.

Know what, this part of life means so much to me. I have met all kind of people. They told me their stories, they inspired me in their very own way. They all have their own dream.
I came here first with a broken heart, I want to find myself. I want to know myself even better, I want to move on.
Observing, the inner voice is what people do here. They follow their intuition. The monk, last word that he said to me before I left is, he hugged me real tight. He said, follow your heart, I don't know where my heart will lead me, but I know as long as it is still beating, I will follow it=)
Thanks for giving me a chance, to be here.

15-8/28- 16th day in workaway

Today is definitely an awesome day, went to the border of Czech, Austria and Germany with the yoga retreat.
I really enjoy my time with them and they aways make me feel like part of them=)
Dirt was very surprised when he actually see me loving the sun a lot. Haha, Because I exposed myself to the sun, lying comfortably on the rocks, just feel like I can absorb the positive energy of the sun =P

15/8/27 15th Day in workaway

This morning I listen to German song entitled winx2-Musa song right after I woke up.
Today the weather is wonderful, we went for an 2hours continuous yoga retreat. It was awesome.
There are a few difficult yoga movement that I hardly do, head stand, shoulder stand.. But I tried my best anyway.
I really love the way Dirt do it( he talked both france and since he has been in Australia for some time... He has strong kiwi accent)
He is friendly and corrected me in a lot of way.. And I realise how gradually you will get to the posture apiyou want as long as you keep the right way ( such as the hip opener) , also the importance of chest in abd breathing for all movement....the rolling ground, ohmmm and jumping made me feel so good and the final asana posture made me feel like heaven!
I really love the nature...It is so cool! I felt like somehow I absorbed all the spiritual energy( I do believe plants have life)

15/8/26 14th Day in temple

Another wonderful day-My day off
I met this random girl from Bonn, Germany, around the same age...
A spontaneous girl was my first image on her-cool stuff, love smoking.
She is here for yoga retreat... With another 2 guys.
I love her the way she is-typical west german girl-always direct.
We planned for hitchhiking, really trying hard, standing by the road side for half an hour, not easy. 2 cars stopped for us, but not to the direction we wants to...pretty sad
We gave up half way.. Went to some random supermart.. Then to birgarten.. Where we always been...grab some tea..
We talked bout lot of stuffs, more on philosophy of life.. She is a free thinking, no believe in everything.. Karma.. No to her...
She told me her life.. She mentioned her life sucks..
And I told... Well, I would love to know..
We talked. She is telling me how her brother is addicted to drug, but she still loves him... She has this problem.. Always feel fat but she is none of those..
She is daring and i definitely love it... A bit surprise when she told me how restricted her life is.. Always on plan... Never get astray from it...
That is amazing...
She never believe that yoga hurts or anything but just love it...
Well.. That is good..
She has been practising on it for 6 years and it turns out to be great!

The night talk with the UK guy aiks is awesome too. He is a Buddhism and I like the way he brings buddhism to people, is more like her personal expereince with it. And his meditation that help him in memories and organisation does interested me more.
Especially he mentions how he treats rveryone the same, all in one concept is one of the best idea

15/8/25 13th Day workaway

Was another normal day.
Did some drawing and the long night talk with the German lady was awesome.
I got to understand so much culture difference that is happening here as well as their expectation=)
She told me the time she realise I seldom voice out my opinion when we are in the middle. She wasn't surprise but she told me how German people love to be direct and if you are not agreeing with something.Give it a heated conversation. We want to hear your inner voice. They have learnt it from Nazi time. You have to stand up for the right thing!

15/8/24 12th day for workaway

Today is an awesome day.
I made the stone bench with the crotian lady, Lavanga from the part and parcel of stone.
They invited me over the joined their group on discussion for Bhagavata .
The randomly opened a page which is pg 227 and it was such a coincidence tht it was the page that i had been looking for, the reincarnation of Krsna as Buddha...
Lavanga is a very special lady to me, she told me she can telepath with the creature around her. She believe if you do not harm to any creatures. We all can live well and harmony. She told me story of the hawk that stands on her hand without harming her before. I remember we once spent time swimming by the lake and the dragonflies stop on her fingers when she put it out. Well, none seem to be interested to stand on mine when I put it out anyway. *SHAME*

16/8/23 Day 11 workaway

Waking up this morning, I started to realise how important is it for me to record every single detail down for memories in the future.
I do have some issue recently! I couldnt restrain myself from food.
Basically doing the same thing as yesterday but i have awesome afternoon spending with Finns and they inspired me to continue my painting and passion fr guitar! She is really talented girl, passionate on her art work and she travelled 2 months from Finland here by camping all the way through, not staying a day in hotel. I am really inspired by her. This is what a real adventure called!

15/8/21 nineth Day in Camp

It is definitely a night hard to be forget
This English guy, Patrick, super rich, gave up all her jobs, travel around the globe. For the reason of getting sick of. Job, people asking for mre and mre money. Gave his car and house  to charity, gave up his well paid salary( 50,000 per year).
We talked a lot about difference in culture. He said he has mind blow experience talking to me.
Me too, feel the same thing...
He said he will never figure out all these thing i have told. Asian, I bet I am the first Asian he ever approached. And I believe curiosity does overwhelmed him. He told me visiting Asian countries is his next plan.
Great night spent.

15/8/10 Trip to Neuswanstein Castle

We took a long train to get to Neuswanstein. The night train from Zurich all the way to Wurzburg. The host( with funny name as Mario) was there and he passed us the key. After he left, little did we know that there weren't any wifi access.
So we put our stuffs and carried on to the next destination, Neuswanstein Castle!
Before that, I did a bit of research on the best spot to take the photos. One of it is under the hill by taking bus 78. It will arrive at the spot where cable car goes up, known as Tegelbergbahn.
Another spot is from the bridge of Marianbrucke. However, the bridge was broken or kind of under renovation. We were not allowed to enter as it is one of the best spot.
The view was best, all the way from uphill, we followed a bike path and reached the bottom...
The beauty of the castle is best appreciated from this point!

15/8/12 Day trip to Rothenburg and Würzburg

Today is the last day we spent together.
We visited Rothenberg, the fairy tale town.
We arrived and met an old man who offered to fetch us. At first we thought that he is a taxi driver turn out that he is a bus driver as the town was so small that they are not as many people and they decided to use small van instead.
There are the famous old town,  town wall, town hall, aka rathaus, burgartten, as well as the well knwn StJacob church, aka St Jacobskirche, German Christmas museum aka Deutsches Weihnachtmuseum, Das Ploinein, one of the best spot to take photo and the medieval crime museum. There are lot of gates around as well.
We bought the famous snowball, made of biscuit, the original one with powdered sugar.
There are lot of gate all around the town.
We spent quite a long time taking photo at the famous Das Ploinein, a split road with the significant building with the tower gate beside it.
Then we walked all the way to the garden. It is just normal one.
Then, we visited different gate as well.

15/8/20 Eighth Day in Camp

Today is another of my free day so I went on to the trip in stonehenge with Marina, Patrick, and Shane. It has been raining all morning but getting better in the afternoon time.
However, it was still cold. The hill was about 20km from here so it took us quite some time and Minashi was the driver,. Tara and Minashi's baby followed as well. They both sat on the back.
After we arrived, we started to hike to different stone to get the better view of it. We could see the border of Czech and Germany clearly as Czech had the trees chopped but not removed.
It was awesome. We took a lot of photos if each other.
It is a celtic place and people said if you are here. You can feel the difference but I guess it just simply not making much difference to me.
Tara walked a bit slow back behind. We walked to the hill with cross on it. Minashi and I didnt make it to the top as we were thinking it might be better to go back early so Minashi doesnt need to wait for too long as she has 2 kids with her. It is a big reaponsibility.
Then, we went to the biggest supermart here to have some food and bought some stuffs.
We able to make it back in time for  dinner( pasada).
Then, Marina and Patrick went for another walk to the town. I was tired and told them I prefered to stay indoor.
The night was epic.
I had really great talk with Shane and Hin was there too.
Shane wasnt as secretive as I thought so. He is better than that, a great talker I would say, somehow i feel like there are not much difference between one another. even though we are of different nationality

It was quite a big surprise for me as he told me one thing.. buddha is actually came as another form of Krsna.
It wad written in the book " Shrimbabhagavati"

15/8/18 sixth day in camp

The best part of the day.. I went for the halinam event.. It was a really rare experience for me... Every dance movement wasnt planned.
I really do enjoy the part when everyone was just so into it and dance with the rythm... That very moment... I do feel happiness that flow deep inside me=)
Hare krsnu hare krsnu...

15/8/17 fifth day in camp

I woke up this morning and went for a jog. Then, I was told that the yoga session was canceled, pretty sad but Hin messaged me and told a lady was teaching him.
I love the yoga session as always... Especially when she asked us to repeat the phrase of how body and mind is not ours and we should be the observer of our body.
Today is long rainy day. I did most of the cleaning stuffs and had bit of time for myself to read.
The conversation about 911 in the afternoon means sth to me...
At night, I was told to wear the awesome sari for dinner service.. I definitely love it!

14/8/16-Forth day in camp

Today was rainy day.
I was doing most of the cleaning job.

And i ever doubt... Monk... Do u think it will ever lead to happy lifestyle...?

15/8/16 third day in camp

Today we woke up super early for the gardening job. It was definitely one of the best exercise though.
However, we did it in quite a wrong way while cleaning the weed as the betroot was kinda covered by sand and might " suffocated"
Then, we went for the yoga session. It was one of the best so far as they explain the purpose behind all the steps.
After the work of the day, we went to the birgarten to have some drink.
The Australian girl talked so much about the history of Australia but it was good to expose to those.
I have no idea but the day was so tiring for me.
I did read a bit and slept earlier than normal...

15/8/6 One day trip to Luxembourg

Luxembourg, also known as the smallest country in the world but people there are very rich though.
We planned to visit Bock, Grand Ducal Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Mudam- a museum, Petrusse , Gelle Fra, Fort Thungen.
The bock is a promontory n north eastern corner of Luxembourg Cit's old historical district, offer a natural historical district.

15/8/11 Trip to Bamberg-Little Venice

I really do love it!
Bamberg is the place people known as the Little Venice.
We visited the alstadt, Dom, Rathaus,St Micheal Church.

15/8/7 first day in Karlshruhe and heidelberg

Today is my solo trip. I departed from his house at 1200pm. I walked to the karlshruhe palace within 25 minutes. There are botanical garden and Scloss garden behind it.
Then I went to the apple store( Gravis) nearby to get an iphone adaptor which cost me 18 euro.
Caroline called me all of sudden and told me she wrote the wrong time for meet up so I rushed to the Adenau Ring in KIT in 15 minutes.
Then we took 38 minutes to arrived to the Pfoffenberg train station.
From there, I took bus no 34 to the bismarketplaz. It is within 28 minutes.
I took 7-8 minutes to walk all my way up to the castle. It is so high up and grand. When I arrived. I was unbelievable tired and thirsty so i went to the shop near y and bought myself fanta orange that cost me 3 euro per bottle.
The entrance fee is 3-4 euro for student to visit the courtyard. I didnt, just went around the garden. It was so big but some part of it is under renovation. There is no way at the end of the path and so I need to make a u turn.
Then, i have some hesitation whether to move on to the Pilosophenweg as i thought it was supposed to be a small garden.
While i was making my way, I passed by the heiligenberg. It is a beautiful wall lead to the bridge known as the carl theodor.
After the bridge, I saw a signboard right in front of me leading me to the philosophenweg. Only did i realise that it is a long pathway upstair to view the castle from high up.
It is so breathtaking from above looking down at all the buildings below.
I love it so much.

15/8/22 Tenth Day in camp

As usual, I did my 5 hrs job today and went to the lake for a short swim with Hin
We talked a bit of his life in Hong Kong.
He is living a very hectic life there. Not far from my expectation because this is what typical hong kong guy do. He is currently trying to find a job. He said it is really hard to find a job there as thus he decided to take a break and travel around the world before he takes his next time. I would say it is a wise step.

15/8/14 Second day in camp

As usual, I woke up at 630am.
I went for an hour ritual as usual, devote to the god. I met the girl from Czech. She explained to me Ksna, the Hinduism god, part of 8 incarnation, turned into half lion and half human form to protect us.
After the ritual, i attended the yoga conference. They explained how Bhakti yoga is related to the worship of god.
I love the idea, it only last for half an hour but it is awesome...
My job of the day wasnt hard. I did a bit of baby sitting and realise i am really sucks at it.
But the kids do teach me a few German words such as spielen-play, langsam-slow,schnell-fast....
They are all adorable though...
Then, i did some laundry and cleaning the conference room...fixing " bees net"
The Auzzie has real fun character... She talked about her special experience of attending the " Pitch Black" restaurant in London...
I went for a walk alone to the Lake Freibad...did some meditation...it is real awesome!
The night was long... But great...
Guten natsh!

2015/8/4 Belgium Trip

Here I go again! After rested for another 2 weeks at home. I applied job in Germany, working as a farmer. I invited my friend, Wei Kun who is still studying engineering in Karlshruhe to visit another four countries which are Belgium, Luxemberg, Germany and Switzerland.

I arrived the airbnb in Rue Vanderlinder a bit earlier than WK. The host is very friendly. My phone was out of battery again and as usual, I forget my adaptor. So, he lent me his adaptor. Then, another 2 of his friends came by and we chat a little. He gave me a map and show me wherebout of Belgium to visit.

I really do look forward for their waffles and pommes. We stayed in somewhere near the attic whereby there are big window above your head. Weather here is much more hotter compare to Ireland.

when it was about noon time, WK arrived. It has been almost one year since I last saw him. He didn't change much though, from appearance. So, we rested a bit and straightaway started our journey. It was about 20 min walk to the town.

We made a list of interest points such as Manneken Pis, Atomium, Mini Europe, Cathedral of St Michael, Brussel Town Hall

While we reached the town, the first thing I was searching for is the Dandoy. Cindy mentioned to me that they have the best waffles and the queue is always longer than expected. While we reached there, we saw no one there and started to wonder if this is the right one. So we went in and realised that they sold only biscuits!! So we ended up buying bunches of biscuits instead of waffles ==. Then, we decided to go for pommes instead. The pommes are not as good as I expected, maybe I am not a fans of fried food!

While we continued to walk, only we saw that there is a long queue of people queuing for something. Out of curiosity, we approached and saw that this is the shop of the same name"Dandoy" and they were selling waffles!!!!
However, we were quit full that time so we decided to come back after.

When It was about evening time, we decided to walk to the atomium nearby. It is very close to Mini Europe. It is indeed breathtaking and one of the rare structure that I have ever seen. It represent the quality of inspire people imagination. It appears neither of pyramid, tower or skyline.

I did some research on that and It shows that the atomium will appear blue at night. So we decided to sit beside. WK used his gopro and put time lapse on.
It was quite cold when night getting closer though.

I got quite a bit impatient waiting though but WK seemed to enjoy a lot sitting there playing his "pikacu game".
I went to different site and took the photos of the atomium from different angle. In whatsoever sense, It still appear symmetry to me though. Haha

When we were about to give up as the sky is still so bright even after some time.We were thinking that those photos might be just edited instead.
However, when we were about to give up, it turned blue!!!!
We quickly took a lot of more photos and then only we left with satisfaction!

Expenses
Hot Air Balloon Trip- 110 euro per pax
We woke up damn early in the morning at 3.30am, which means I only had 3 hours sleep the night before.
We went on to the Hot air Balloon trip last to get the edge position so that we can take good photos.
The hot air balloon raised at 5a.m. and it landed after 2 hours at 6.45 a.m.
It was chilling cold.
It was beautiful and amazing to have the experience on the hot air balloon, looking at balloon that fit in 18 people up to 2000 feet.
I don't really felt scared although there were accident of 2 people dying last time.
I felt more excited about it.
The view was breathtaking...
Thanks to Montgofier who invent the hot air balloon.

We saw how the envelope was being expanded by the hot gas( propane).. The pilots are qualified with license... Look so professional...
After we landed, we were given cert and have small session of wine tasting..
After that, we went back to the Emre stone house to chill a bit...
We departed to the hostel and rested till 9.40 a.m. and went on the Green Tour that included Panorama Goreme, Pigeon Valley, Selime monastery, Ihlara Valley, Delikuyu Underground and Onyx Jewellery Factory...

Pigeon Valley is located between Uchisar and the Goreme.

Ihlara Valley special in the way day the whole canyon is honeycomb with rock cut underground dwellings.
Then we stayed in Onyx jewellery factory for quite some time. I love the torquoise eing but it wad quite expensive.
Delikuyu is the underground that can accomodate up to 20,000 people and it extended up to 60m.

There are 3 different sections, which are the market hall, West yard and east yard. According to my friend, they told me it used to be a stable for horse and now it is a market selling all kind of food and souvenirs.
Happy moment passed so fast. I felt so reluctant to leave but still I have to..

However, we were a bit upset by the news that the wifi is limited for 2 hours per person for 2nights stay and only to one device.
We were directed to the room with alphabet G and my bed named Ginger and Jay's one was goofball.
After checked in the princes backpack hostel, we straight away departed to the Edinburgh castle.
We decided not to use any public transport for 3 days so we can have a better view of the city. The buildings have its antique and traditional style.

On the way we passed by the national gallery, there are so much painting by different painter, some about Jesus and some on the greek mythology. There are lot of styles such as Italian, Gothic, Reenaissance and so on.
Also, we visited the Princes street garden, Outlook Tower, Giles catedral,

Then, we went for morning shopping along the Prince Street. There are lot of branded stuffs here, H&M, ""
I bought my sister a Scotland's hoddie.

Then, we headed to our first destination, Arthur's Seat. It is ranked as first-to-do thing in Edinburgh by Trip Advisor!
It is an volcano in Holyrood Park.

Hiking hour- 30 minutes midway and 1 hour to the top exclude the time taking photos
Hiking level- 3/10

We departed at 12p.m. and since walked there from our hostel. It took us 1hour 30 minutes to the top and we spent an hour on the top of the mountain. The wind was so strong that I felt like it can blow me off anytime. Standing on the top of it, I felt like I am conquering the world. The scenery is definitely breathtaking!
On the way back, the patches of grass were dancing like dancers, welcoming us with its open hands, waving from sides to sides.

At about 4p.m. , we get back to our hostel, charging our phone and online for a while.
Then, we had our luner in SNAX again. This time I ordered a big veggie burger with chips. I felt so full that I didn't actually eat any of it. Except some chips and I decided to have it for tomorrow's  breakfast.

Our next destination was the forth bridge. It took 30 minutes train from Waverly Bridge to " Dalmeny". We departed at 6p.m. and arrives there at 6.30 p.m. It is a bridge that linked Edinburg and Inverkething. A lot of people died during the construction of it. Approximately 7 people per column. The view from the North Queensferry will give a better view of it. However, we didn't get to the other side though.
Regret is definitely there as we didnt make it to the North and only able to take a few in the South but still, the view is good enough to impress me. Believe me, if you demand more, visit the Golden Bridge in U.S. I have seen it once and I always feel like going back again!
I believe every single architecture have a story behind it and I appreciate it all!
Also, we walked all the way to the beach, beneath the bridge, where Jay Chow took his wedding photos!
We spent 3 hours there and took 9.30p.m. train back to hostel.
The day was long and I was damn tired. After taking shower, I slept, still listening to " All of Me" by Jonn Legend....

15/5/25- One day trip in Pamukkale, Denizli

Expenses
Cotton Castle- 25 TL
We took an overnight bus and headed to Pamukkale at 7a.m.
Then, we changed van to reached the main bus station.
I don't really like the people here as I feel that they matter money more than anything (Impression due to the incident that I knocked my head on the TV but the cashier at the counter care more of his TV than my head )
We cleaned ourselves a bit and changed to new clothes
Since we were going to wet our leg to the knee level. I changed to my short.. little did i know that he temperature for the day was 27 degree...
The Cotton Castle was just right behind the office.
It was magnificient. It is made of the carbon carbonate that formed the travonite... It remind me of the hot spring I watched in US. It was the best and it is made of rainbow colour due to the survival of different kind of bacteria in it.
A lot of people wore bikini around. So we asked Jeff to take off his clothes too. Haha, well, and he agreed.. So, we took a photo=P
Then we headed to the theatre nearby. All the way, there were lot of rocky stone.. We took lot of photos with thousands pieces of broken stone originate from the castle I guess.. And under the scorching sun, we felt soooo hot...
So , when it was around 2pm, we were so hingry and we agreed to pay 25 Tl to get a cab and go backbto the pamukkale town. We had our lunch in the rose restaurant..,I ate the fish and I really loce fish, applying the little skills that I just learnt from the murphy law... Press the fish backbone...I recalled the calefe character I played last time in the movie called 新村
There were nothing much to see here so we decided to stay in the office and waited for dinner time... After 4 hours catching the rest of the drama. I abled to finish it...
So, we went to the restaurant next to it and had some tomato omelette for my dinner ( 10euro)
What a long day.. Now heading to the denizli airport, cannot wait for the next destination, Greece...

15/5/21 Second day in Istanbul, Turkey

Expenses
Topkapi palace- entrance fee for 20 TL
Blue Mosque- entrance fee for 20TL
As usual, I was the last one who woke up. Had our breakfast at 8a.m. at the rooftop.. They served really nice olive for breakfast...
Must-Try-Food-
Menemen

We went to the blue mosque first.. Took a few photos in front of the fountain.
Little did i realize that I dropped my USA cap.
It was a lazy morning  for me...
I watched "Murphy Law of Love"  until 1 a.m. the night before...
There are so many people and since it allowed entrance till 7 p.m.
We decided to come back at 6 p.m.
So , we went to the Topkapi palace aka Cannon Gate.

There are lot of ceramic made utensil from all different countries such as France , China, Germany , as well as swords, horse wear and stuffs.
It is one of the large palace in Istabul and the primary residence of the Ottoman Sultan.
The palace made up of 4 main courtyard and many small building.
After that, we went to Basilica Cistern, is all about the story of one of the three sister.
It is also known as the Sunken Palace.

We even went to the park right above the basilica to do some geocaching but too bad we didny manage to find it.
Then, I had Menemen as lunch
Then, we went to the Grand Bazaar, famous for selling spices and some souvenirs such as the evil's eye, symbolise good luck and charm.

We tried the turkish ice cream there. 10TL each, felt like we were being tricked
Turkish people love to play with it so we couldn't catch it
After that we went for lunch, I get to try the menemen, eggplant with spices.
Then, we went to the blue mosque.
We were not allowed to go in just like that but need to wear head scarf.

Then, we even went on the Bosphorus tour, for 1 and a half hour. We took thousands photos.
The last stop was Galata Tower.

15/5/20 First day in istanbul

Expenses
Avrasya hostel- 56TL for 2nights
Our flight was at 12pm but we started the journey to the airport quite early.
So our tour guide in Istanbul was Jeff.
The flight took an hour.
We still need to take train and bus to the Avrasya Hostel.
It took an hour train and half an hour ferry to the place.
We were so busy taking photos in the ferry that we missed our stop.
Instead we visited the Galata bridge just the moment we arrived.
After settled down in the Avrasya hostel, we went to the meathouse next door to have our lunner.
The cashier was friendly enough.
Our plan for the day was to visit the Blue museum.

It was so hilarious that I mistaken the Hagia Sophia as the blue mosque and only get to realise it the next day.
Blue Mosque, also known as Sultan Ahmed Mosque, is a historic mosque in Istanbul.
it is famous for its blue tiles.
It was built by Sultan Ahmed, in order to reassert Ottoman power.
It has one big dome, 6 minrets and 8 secondary domes.

Then, we walked around the town and the river...It is a very happening town.
As well, we noticed lot of small incidence, such as some small fight where people throwing glass, building demolished, car knockdowned...
Another thing, kids here really love taking foreigners' photos.. I guess at least...

Brief Intro of the City-
Romania earned the nickname "Little Paris"

Jumped out of the bed an hour later than the time I was supposed to!
My Singaporean friend woke up even earlier than I did! She prepared oatmeal breakfast for me *so sweet of her*
I only managed to eat 1 or 2 spoonfuls and hugged her goodbye.
I ran all my way to the bud stop and realized I forget to take my camera! Luckily I managed to get on the bus after running like crazy!
My friends was waiting at the airport 's checked in area, we get in an hour earlier, having some chat using broken "Cantonese", updating each other on our summer plan.
Little did i know that Queen and Mann Wei are going for a Romania volunteer programme on 18th July and I recalled how I had a wonderful summer last year in U.S.
Our flight with Ryanair delayed for half an hour time!
I sat with Julia in the plane, talking about a bit of academic stuff, how we spent our last summer and lot more others, reading book with title  "我怕没有机会过我喜欢的生活".
There is a quote that I actually love a lot which is "人最怕不是改变,而是一成不变".
I slept for a while, woke up after 30 minutes flight.
We arrived at 2 p.m. and straight we took a taxi to go to the Friends hostel.
Queen fell when she entered the gate! The cashier doesn' t seem to be as friendly.
We went to Old Town straight after that for some good food.
It took 35 minutes to walk there.
The most attractive part would be discovering the Ice Cream in McDonald only worth 1 Lei!
We were in rush to get to the Walking tour at 6 p.m. Thus we planned to have it after that.

Walking Tour's Details-

Luckily more people came after that.
We went to 3 main place which is the University of Romania, Post office whereby they called it palace and right in front of it is a naked statue holding a dog with elephant tail, the Stavropoleos Church

Stavropoleos Church-
The most beautiful church in the capital of Romania

I haver no idea what it symbolise anyway.
I was astonished by the story of Ceausescu moved the building, the church from one place to the other so that communist would not demolished it, even with people inside.
However, it took them months to do so...

Character Intro-
Ceausescu-
Romania's Communist President
He ruled Romania for 21 years and earned reputation as a brutal dictator.

We also visited Manuc' Inn, which considered as the "last caravanasary of South East Europe "

We also visited the well known Vlad Tepes-impaler is statue was surrounded by the pillars
He was known as the hero as his successful military exploits against the Ottoman Turks.
I couldn't wait to know more about him.

So, we decided to visit the Bran Castle, the most famous Draculoa site near the city Brasov. Vlad stayed here fro some time on one of his excursions into Transylvania.

Our last stop is the Victoria Boulevard, where the office towers and the government buildings situated.

Other to visit-If you are interested to see the km 0- all locations on the road have a number depending on their distance from this location. In Romania, you can find it in front of the St George Church.

We had our first cup of Ursus and they have the famous Mizu. I ordered the mackerel Stew! So nice! Love it.

At night, we went for parliament palace. The best photo of the day with the mountain right in front of the Parliment!

The night is warm and comfy. We reached hostel at 11 p.m. and my head was pounding .. Slept like a pig... till the next morning.
