porto day 2

We had a hearty breakfast this morning.
Then, we went to Palacio de Bolsa.

The Palácio da Bolsa is a historical building in Porto, Portugal. The palace was built in the 19th century by the city's Commercial Association (Associação Comercial) in Neoclassical style. It is located in the Infante D. Henrique Square in the historical centre of Porto, designated World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Then, we went to Igreja de Sao Francisco.
The Igreja de São Francisco is the most prominent Gothic monument in Porto, Portugal, being also noted for its outstanding Baroque inner decoration. It is located in the historic centre of the city, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Then, we visited the clerigos church.
The Clérigos Church is a Baroque church in the city of Porto, in Portugal. Its tall bell tower, the Torre dos Clérigos, can be seen from various points of the city and is one of its most characteristic symbols.

We didn't get our lunch and directly, we went to Livraria Lello.

Livraria Lello & Irmão, also known as Livraria Chardron or simply Livraria Lello is a bookstore located in central Porto, Portugal.
Along with Bertrand in Lisbon, it is one of the oldest bookstores in Portugal. In 2011, the travel publishing company Lonely Planet classified Livraria Lello as the third best bookstore in the world.

Then, we walked back to  Sao Francisco and took the tram which cost 1.50 euro to the beach.
We saw the sunset. Coincidently, we met the couple who stay in the same hostel as us.

After walking along the beach for quite some time, we went to Santiago for the well- known francesinha and alheria

The alheira (Portuguese pronunciation: [ɐˈʎɐjɾɐ]) is a type of Portuguese sausage, made with meats other than pork (usually vealduckchickenquailor rabbit) and bread.Although its name derives from the Portuguese word for garlic (alho) and was once used to describe any sausage seasoned with it, present-day alheiras don't necessarily contain garlic (although it is still a common ingredient).
whereas fransinha is the famous portugeses sandwich.

We went back hostel earlier instead of the original plan to have another plate of codfish along Riberia.
Then, together, we watched another movie named Love Actually.
