#Day 11 # San Francisco

14〜5〜28 #Day11 San Francisco

We spent the whole night walking around all the casino in Las Vegas and I was so sleepy! In the air plane, I had no idea who was sitting beside me and I just lean on " whoever" shoulder sitting next to me...Even after I woke up, I have no idea that I did that until Cindy told me! * ashamed*

Wow! I bet so far I love San Francisco the most! It is located somewhere uphill so the air was so chilled! Windy....like Cameron Highland.

Since we were only allowed to check in at 3p.m. in the afternoon, so we took bath in the public toilet in the lobby instead...lol

Our planning today was to visit the Japantown, Haight-Ashbury, which is well known for its hippie girl( The way they dressed up was quite different( esxy and colourful) , and lastly the tour to Golden Bridge . We walked everywhere by feet.

The Japan town was small, there are East and West part, lots of shop around here such as Kinokuniya book store, Japanese restaurant everywhere but most of the shops here selling handmade and looked so cute.....Toronto, Pikacu, Doraemon, Domo,etc..... The stuffs selling here were quite cheap as well. Haha, Japanese Restaurant everywhere! I kind of miss sushi and raw seafood a lot! Hmm...plan to go for Jogoya again once I back to Malaysia.

Then, we walked all the way to the Golden Gate Park. The thing about San Franscisco is that there are slope everywhere and you hardly find any flat pathway but the layout of the building here was quite organized as in it is just like square. Still, I was wondering if I am going to live here, I must drive auto car then!

After the hard climb, we reached Haight-Ashbury. It was about half an hour walk away. We saw how hippie girl dress up ( The way they Cindy defined as weird) But they were quite creative though.

Then, we headed to Golden gate Park. We saw a lot of people lying on the lawn, sunbathing. Hehe, by then, we were too tired to walk so we found the spot under the shade of big tree and well, slept! And we really did that, lying on the grass and slept for almost half an hour, recharge our battery before we go on.....What a cosy nap...!

I bet both of us had no interest to walk around the park, haha, coz we skipped all the attraction such as Japanese Garden, Green Tea Garden, eell known science exhibition, as well as Tulip's garden....,

Then, to a point, we were so desperate to reach the Golden gate bridge and we decided to take bus. It took only minutes to reach there rather than half an hours that we were supposed to walk to. Still, I prefer walking!

Haha, I guess my pairs of legs are best gift ever from my mum, allow me to left my footprint all over the world. And the world is beautiful=) and it will be endless mission to explore the world.
Perhaps one day I will go for a small town that I love the most. I want to stay there and be one of the people there. to truly experience their culture, and experience different life. I love dessert but I am not sure whether I can survive over there or not! Haha....

Oh...finally we reached Golden Gate bridge, the symbolic of ypthe greatness of American Empire and resembles how much they are willing to open the door to others. It wasn't easy to find the best spot to take a photo. There is a place called battery avenue on the other side of the bridge but it will take 2hours to walk over there and there was no public transport to get there. So, we took almost 45 minutes to walk over the bridge, the wind was soooo chill * freezing cold*. We managed to reach there but it wasn't the best spot to capture the bridge during sunset.

Then, another 45 minutes to walk back. I felt like my legs wasn't mine. anymore! Haha.....
On the way back, we stopped by Chinatown to have Good Food!
We entered a restaurant visited by Lokman( if u watch on call 36 hours 2)!
We were quite disappointed as the food wasn't as nice as we expected....And well, tips seemed to be a must rather than a choice. Because we found the service not so good, so we actually have no intention to give but when we were about to leave, the cashier reminded us again that tips was not included.*we paid reluctantly*

So, we ended our trip and we stayed in dorm instead of hotel this time....
